This is a personal project of one of Portugal’s most experienced and creative winemakers. Luis Seabra has been making wine in Douro for years and his knowledge and understanding of the region is second to none! Working with old vine parcels from the high-altitude a


reas of the Valley, he is exploring the potential of the indigenous grapes, grown on various types of soil, in a truly unconventional way. Balance, freshness, drinkability and finesse remain at the core of his approach. Apart from the wines in Douro, Luis also makes exceptional Vinhho Verde, called Granito Cru (meaning “raw”). 100% Alvarinho from the most premium area near Melgaco, known for its pink granitic soil. It is barrel fermented and aged on the lees for 12 months in combination of the large, eastern-European oak barrels.
